Potluck
I love my building. I’m so happy that we hosted a potluck at our place for our whole building. Most of the building came by and even brought a ton of delicious food. I was in a complete food coma. It was definitely a lot of fun getting to know people finally. My red velvet cupcakes with lemon frosting were a hit too. AND my playlist received many compliments. WIN.

Our apartment wins
Potluck time! Our apartment organized a building potluck so we’ve been busy cooking.
I made red velvet cupcakes with lemon frosting. The other girls made tacos, homemade tortilla chips, corn, and a few other things.
Now we’re waiting for people to arrive. Can’t wait to eat and meet new people. And then, I have to go to Tommy’s Place for my friend Annie’s show. Busy...

Reading the textbooks for my two newswriting classes aren’t too bad. Oh hey, actually enjoying the assigned reading for something I care about? Go figure. High schools and the people who come up with GEs could learn from that.
Laughter is the best medicine

Honestly, a lot of Demi’s industry “friends” are more geared towards radio success.A little FYI, she’s a known slut (you don’t want to hear how many guys on Warped she’s slept with) and she does what she can to try to gain cred. Lost respect for her.

What's with people wanting to fit in?
Demi Lovato said she’s moving away from pop rock to be more radio friendly. She worked with Timbaland and some other R&B/hip-hop people. She also looks completely different.
Her song La La Land was all about being your own person and not conforming to the ways of LA and Hollywood.
I actually really liked her the way she was (even if she was a Disney kid).
Freaking A. Had a chance to go to a screening for 50/50 to cover it for the Daily Trojan. Someone beat me to it. Struggs. Oh well. Might be better off anyway. I have a ton to do this week (including an event every single night). I’d have to find a ride there as well. I guess it would have been stressful. lol. I have no cares anymore.
