You have to start from somewhere

I need to figure out how to make this certain dream of mine a reality. I’m already making a list of people who I know would be great to work with on the team. It’s only a small idea right now. No real direction or anything. Something big though.

Time flies

I have one more week left for actual classes. Then I start packing the week after this upcoming one and take my two finals the one after that. I will officially be done with my first year of college on May 11.

Damn, this year went by fast. I sure have learned a lot, both academic wise and then about myself. I’m so ready for summer. I want it to be a summer of growth, exploration and production. I will force myself to be active.

Anything is possible.

For now, I have to work on a bunch of papers.

Oprah is superwoman

I watched a bunch of different Oprah episodes with my mom today. The first was about the Freedom Riders. The others were some random ones. The last was about her life, and damn, she’s been through a lot.I had no idea how hard her life was before.

She has inspired me. She was a brilliant young woman who didn’t let abuse, an unwanted and failed pregnancy or anything else get in her way. She used her knowledge, resources and every opportunity to her advantage and I completely admire her.

I have a lot of huge dreams and I don’t want them to go to waste. I’m going to try my hardest to achieve them because even if all of them are failures, at least I will be able to say I tried. All I can do is try. The worst things that will happen? I’ll have to dream and try harder.
