My Philosophy TA wrote that about my “Does God Exist” paper. There are millions of compliments that a person can receive, but that one always means a lot to me. It’s so simple, but writing is my passion, my future.
I especially liked when he said “It’s less formal, and that’s a small risk, but you pull it off because you don’t waste time with fluff. You make each of your sentences count, which is a great skill.”
Looks like I have learned a few things or two from being involved with journalism. I’ve been told I have knack for having my own voice heard in my writing. Whenever I doubt my writing (which I do everyday) I’m going to read those words again and stop being so hard on myself.
I don’t usually talk about specific grades I get, but this one’s big for me. I got a 90/100 on that paper I slaved over. Shocked would be the word to describe how I felt.

I said that on Saturday.
I forget who started the conversation, but some friends and I started talking about how we classify ourselves. I never know how to answer that question because I don’t think I really belong under one label. I’m really diverse not just ethnicity wise, but in music, fashion, beliefs, etc etc.
One day, a friend asked me how I would describe my style and I wasn’t sure what to say. I told him I just dress like “me.” Sometimes I’ll be super girly. Other times I’ll be wearing ripped jeans and a band shirt. It all depends I guess. He said I was eccentric, or maybe he said eclectic…Doesn’t matter.
I believe everyone is a “hipster” in some sort of way. We all follow trends at some point. It’s natural. I don’t know why so many bitch about it. lol.
“It’s too mainstream to be a hipster.”
